Readington Quilters
Back to Programs
A
gift of $431.00 was given by the Quilters to the
Readington Reformed Church at Harvest Home.
We also gave a hand-pieced and hand-quilted
wall hanging to the Spring Art Auction.
At auction this brought in $140.00 which was
given to the Sanctuary Redesign Fund.
We
have about 5 active members who meet every Tuesday,
year round, from
10:00 a.m.
to
3:00 p.m.
in Fellowship Hall.
All of the Readington Quilters are members of
the Hunterdon County Quilting Guild.
Through this group we individually make and
donate quilts for terminally ill children, for unwed
mothers through “New Moms, New Expectations” with
Catholic Charities in Somerville, “Friendship Center
for New Beginnings” in Flemington, Katrina victims
in Mississippi, and for the Hunterdon Developmental
Center in Clinton.
We
gladly welcome new members any Tuesday.
Bring a sandwich and join us.
We provide the tea, coffee, and fellowship!
